Course Summary
This 10 week online course will equip you with the fundamental knowledge, skills and techniques for figuring out what kind of job you want to pursue with your PhD or other doctorate. It's not your fault that you feel overwhelmed and lost as you think about starting your job search. Your doctoral training and/or postdoc experiences probably did not afford you the opportunity to pause, explore careers and learn the mechanics of managing an effective job search. This course includes the content of both the Awaken and Keys to an Effective Job Search courses, plus some extra bonuses. Topics covered:

Through my company, Smart Career Design LLC, I provide specialized career and life coaching to people with doctoral degrees (PhDs, EdDs, etc.) - from any discipline and at all stages of their careers. My services are all offered online to individuals and small groups.
In addition to earning my doctorate, an EdD in Higher Education from The George Washington University, I am an ICF Associate Certified Coach (ACC) and a Certified Mentor Coach (CMC). To achieve this level of recognized life coaching credentials, I completed 140+ hours of coaching training through MentorCoach LLC, successfully completed their rigorous written and coaching performance evaluations as well as the ICF Credentialing exam. I am currently enrolled in a 9- month Certificate in Applied Positivist Psychology through the Flourishing Center.
